Why I miss summer

     I know I shouldn't be longing for summer in the beginning of January, but I just can't help it.  I long to jump on the tramp in our backyard, or go roller-blading around the park.  I want to stay up late and play outside with my neighbors, not yet dark and still warm.  I miss playing Fugitive without freezing my head off.  I miss sleeping in, and not having to do homework or worry about grades.  I miss the fun things I get to do with my family, I miss the ice bucket challenge, and I miss laying on the driveway in the sun after playing in the freezing water with my friends. I miss making popsicles and lemonade and strawberry lemonade cupcakes. I miss the beautiful flowers, sky, and grass. I miss the relaxing and the heat. I miss summer.
